Real-day ranching, documented with respect, storytelling, and western soul.

Ranch Sessions

This Is For You If...

  • You want more than a posed picture in a clean shirt
  • You know the value of early mornings, hard work, and a damn good crew
  • You’re looking to preserve the way your family runs the ranch — not just what it looks like
  • Branding day isn’t just an event — it’s tradition
  • You believe in telling your story the way it really happens

What to expect

Once you reach out, we’ll schedule a consultation call so I can get a sense of what kind of day you’ve got planned and how I can best work around your flow.

I won’t be in the way. I won’t ask you to stop what you’re doing.

I’ll show up early, blend in, and document the action as it unfolds — roping, branding, saddling, sorting, riding — all of it.

You work. I shoot. Simple as that.

Why These Sessions Matter

These photos aren’t for Instagram.

They’re for your grandkids.

Because one day, the youngest kid holding the branding iron will be running the show.

Because your horses, your land, and your people deserve to be remembered.

Because there’s something sacred in the dust and the discipline — and the world doesn’t see enough of it

FAQ

Do you pose anything during a ranch session?

Nope. This is full documentary-style — I’m there to observe, not direct. I might step in for a quick generational portrait before the sun dips low, but otherwise I’m capturing what actually happens, as it happens.

Do you understand livestock?

Yes. I grew up in this world and I’ve worked horses and cattle. I know where to stand, when to move, and how to stay out of the way while still getting the shot.

Do you travel?

Yes. I cover Jefferson Country, Colorado with travel included. For out-of-state ranches — I offer custom quotes and may waive travel if I’m already planning to be in the area.

Can we add on a keepsake?

Absolutely. I offer heirloom albums, or print bundles with your favorite images.

What if we’re out there all day?

I’m prepared to ride it out with you. We’ll chat beforehand about what to expect, and I’ll quote fairly based on the full day.

How do we book?

Fill out my contact form and we’ll start with a consultation call — because I believe every client deserves someone who gets them. (And I don’t sign contracts until we’ve talked!)

Ready to Document Your Brand, Your Herd, and Your History?

I’d be honored to come out and tell your story the way it deserves to be told — with dust, sweat, and every detail in between.
